Oaklee Thiele (she/her) is a New York based disability rights activist, public speaker, and artist whose work chronicles life from the disabled perspective and the intimate bond she has formed with her medical alert service dog, Coco. She is currently earning a BFA from The Cooper Union.

Smit has spent his career writing, lecturing, and teaching throughout the world about the compelling relationship between media, art, and the body. His books and essays on disability, art, popular culture, new media, and cultural spectacle address the power of art and culture to transcend political realities of underrepresented groups like Disabled people.
DisArt Co-Executive Director Jill Vyn, MSW, (she/her) received her undergraduate and Masters degrees from the University of Michigan. Vyn is an adept community organizer, public speaker, event planner, and program developer whose work with DisArt has driven local and global community conversations about disability culture, accessibility, and public engagement.
